FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) have different numbers of wires and pitches. It can facilitate the linking of wires, greatly reduce the volume of electronic products, reduce production costs, improve production efficiency, especially suitable for being applie in data transmission cables between moving parts and mainboards, PCB boards and PCB boards, and in miniaturized electrical equipment. Common specifications are 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.25mm, 1.27mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.54mm and other FFC flat cable with different pitches.
A Type: two ends connected; reinforcement pad pasted onto insulating tape;
B Type: reinforcement pad cross-pasted directly onto insulating tape;
C Type: reinforcement pad at both ends pasted directly onto conductor;
D Type: reinforcement pad at both ends cross-pasted onto conductor;
E Type: one reinforcement pad pasted on insulating tape; the other be tinned;
F Type: reinforcement pad at both ends directly pasted on insulating tape, half peeled internally;
G Type: reinforcement pad at both ends directly be tinned.
FFC Technical Parameter:
the number of conductor (N): number of copper wire conductors in FFC flat cable;
pitch (P): distance between the centerlines of two adjacent conductors;
margin(M): distance between the centerline of the outermost conductor and the edge of the FFC flat cable;
total pitch (TP): distance between the centerlines of the outermost conductors at two sides , TP = P*(N-1);
total width (TW): distance between the two edges of the FFC flat cable, W=P*(N+1);
total length (TL): Distance between the ends of the FFC flat cable;
insert thickness (IT): thickness of the two FFC flat cable connecting ends;
